My understanding is that the official update file (later build number) does work on 1.0 and 2.0 to update to 2.2. But is important to get the right nav or non-nav file.

Not trying to bash you, but do you have a source? I'd love to see if they fixed any of the nitpicks found in the other Sync threads.

Edit: Ford owner site says 2.2 is still the latest.

LOL, Owner site for me changed my confirmed install back on Jan 22 of 2017 from 2.2 to 2.3... odd. That was the unofficial. I later updated to the official 2.2 version, but that update date has never updated my confirmed date. If someone finds that this update has Android Auto over WiFi support, I'll be all over it, otherwise AA is working just fine for me right now. I will die laughing if we find that an updated 2018 WiFi module to support wireless CarPlay.

The link for the non-navigation version seems to also be broken. I see that a new link for the navigation version was posted but not for the non-navigation version. Is there a new link for the non-navigation version?

Hi I just bought a 2016 f-150 and was looking to update the truck. So I was able to find this page, but the link for the vehicles equipped with navigation doesn't want to work for me. Does anyone have a new link that they can share?

I used the non-navigation update on the truck and it worked sorta, it updated the truck and I have the newer display and android auto on it but apple car play isn't there. I'm not to sure if this is because I don't have the apple USB hub or if it's because I didn't use the right update. I'd like to see if anyone can share a new link before I try buying the new hub.

Trying to download the 3.4 to the usb drive thru the sync updater and keep getting this error “unable to read data from the transport connection” any fix for that? Or something I am doing wrong?

Use a different USB port and reboot your modem/router.

Try again.

The message is basically having issues completing getting the file.

They might be having an issue with the server or the file is corrupt?

Maybe this new version is…which version is the safest then to download that worked for you all?

The files comes from Ford servers.
Try downloading the files directly from the Ford servers. The links are shown in the program and hopefully can be copied and pasted.
Download to your computer first and then transfer to the usb drive. Don’t download directly to the usb drive.

Or restart your computer and start again

Thanks! Definitely the newest version has some files that causes the error, i can download other versions no problem. Anyone running this version what is different between 3.4.21098 and 3.4.21020? And is the 3.4.21020 free of any bugs? Thanks
