Just noticing how tired the thigh bolsters are on my driver side seat cushions thanks to my fat @$$ smashing it day in and day out. Got to looking around Tasca and found replacement seat pads.

Does anybody know if these are the right ones?

I've never taken seats apart since I'm always weary that things just wouldn't fit right after. Has anybody tried to replace these or have done a seat rebuild for the RS1 Recaros? All the stuff I can find on youtube are of standard Focus seats and appear to be pretty straight forward.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!

While I don't have direct experience removing the seat covers on my RS1 seats, I did recently watch one of Adam Rainey's videos where he installed the heating elements into his seats:
Another disclaimer: he has the Euro shell seats, but I'd imagine the process would be similar to our RS1 seats.

Thanks! I like that guy, one of the few youtubers doing stuff on our cars left. Hope he keeps at it.

Ya, I had the Recaro Sportser CS's for a hot minute (same as the Euro shell seats), not much to em, very basic compared to the RS1 seats. Not a lot of wires to deal with since there are no airbags or power controls. They were nice, but I sold em since they weren't that comfortable for daily (not a lot of padding) and the bolstering was actually less than my RS1s. I was getting tossed around at the track and was having to brace my knee/leg against the door/center console in turns. They did, however, sit nice and low and the seating position was way better due to the way I had mounted them (knees aren't way higher than hip), but comfort far out weighed those benefits.

That said, the video posted did give me an idea to save some money: swap seat cushions with the passenger side!

A quick browse on tasca did show two different part numbers tho ( p/n F1EZ-58632A22-H) and a slight price increase. I wonder if it has something to do with the passenger air bag sensor/bladder...

That looks correct . . .

When I was in there to widen the plastic 'bolster' (shaped part of #10 in your link), I ended up not reinstalling that part

My desired result was widening the seat. Not having the hard plastic in the bolster worked, and the aggressive foam bolsters are quite adequate.

usms2141 modded this plastic piece - photos Link here from usmc2141

From memory:

Disconnect battery, wait an hour to discharge air bags. Unplug seat wiring harness

Seat out through back door, reclined?

Seat cushion has clips you push down on, then It can be folded towards seat back. Don't need to remove it

Plastic bottom has rivets that need be be removed. I drilled them out

Reinstall seat
