Tossing up getting an ethanol content sensor and have found 2 options.

1 - Tune +

TUNE+ Bluetooth Ethanol Content Analyzer (ECA) Kit for 2013+ Ford Focu – TunePlus, Inc TUNE+ Bluetooth Ethanol Content Analyzer (ECA) Kit for 2013+ Ford Focus RS/ST

2 - Full Blown Motorsports

Who has one?
Which one ??
Which is better??
And why??

Any help from those that have one installed (not shi7 talkers trying to up their post count) will be appreciated.

Help me decide!

I’ve had the Tune + kit for a bout a year now and it works great. When I originally purchased the kit the sensor that came with the original kit was dead on arrival. After some troubleshooting Adam sent me a new one. No issues whatsoever after that. If I am remembering correctly, install wasn’t bad either.

I guess the question for you is do you want a dedicated gauge or do you just want something you can pull up on the fly when you need it?

TUNE+ Bluetooth Ethanol Content Analyzer (ECA) Kit for 2013+ Ford Focus RS/ST (the sensor itself can be used for a gauge or the fuel-it setup, its just how you plug into the sensor and get out the data that is changed) So if later you decide would rather get a gauge, the sending wiring is all just one connector and running the setup of the gauge inside is very simple; just depends of the gauge how you would adapt. (I prefer it sleeper myself with the app as ethanol shouldn't change between fillups that much.) Ethanol Content Sensor w/ Harness (same sensor) is 100$ so if you want to make your own solution that's the start.

I've got the Tune+ bluetooth ethanol sensor and have been pretty happy with it.

I bought it used from another member and have had it for more than a year now with no issues. I was a bit hesitant to buy it since I was never a fan of wireless solutions for things like gauges, but I was even less of a fan of tacky F&F style gauges.

Since I don't usually run E30 regularly, it's nice to be able to just pull up my phone and check where I'm at before mixing and then leaving it on until the right mix has reached my engine and it's time for me to switch maps, then putting it out of sight until the next time I needed it. No additional clutter on my dash!

If everything appears to be connected correctly, the only thing I can think of is the interface. Have you tried using another device?

What fuel do you have in your RS at the moment? I say that because if you are running ethanol free right now would it read "0" or "---"? I don't remember if it came with a manual or not. Maybe there's a troubleshooting section?
It reads "E0" when using non-ethanol fuel. I believe the "---" is only displayed when disconnected or there is no signal.

Maybe there's a troubleshooting section? I didn't find much online this morning regarding this issue other than checking the pins at the connector. But if it connects, that may not be the issue. I grounded mine below the fuse box at an existing ground. Tapped power in the fuse box. The yellow wire was cut back and tucked into the ECA harness.

This is the wiring, tapped from fuse box and grounded using the fuse box mount bolt. I've checked them both using a circuit tester with the light inside.
I've emailed Adam he says to check the module is 100% clicked into the sensor and double check wiring again, which I will do later today...I did do both of those last night but will do again anyway
