That is a kit for a Mustang, just the first picture that came up on Google. I will never put anything open scroll on a 2.3L Ecoboost. I have a twin scroll on my personal car, and did development on open scroll turbos and it sucks. The point of the picture was to be a joke haha.

Wonder if anyone is working on modifying the current stock turbo? It'd be nice to keep the twin scroll turbine housing and simply move to a more aggressive compressor to make more boost. I know with the MK2 RS, there were several hybrid/custom turbo options that seemed to work well.

On my Volvo C30, I ended up swapping from the K04 turbo to the K16 that the MK2 RS came with. The results were/are amazing. Wonder if it wouldn't be worth pursuing that route as well with the RS.

Thoughts?

Already did some testing, and waiting for the second version to come back for more testing as the first one didn't pan out as they hoped. Will have a thread if we test something that is worth a damn.

I would be impressed if you got 10's out of this car with full weight without a ton of work. In drag racing, 100lbs = .10 of a second.
