Do you have any more info on this? I found the xda thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/paid-software/app-obd2-plugin-android-auto-torque-t3657805) that seems to require the OBD2AA app, Torque, and an OBD2 adapter, but I'm at work and haven't had time to explore the thread much.
There's a thread discussing it more in depth here. I'm on my phone and this site is horrid on it, otherwise I'd find it. I think it's a thread on useful Android auto apps.
@randman2011 let me know if that thread doesn't answer your questions. I've been using OBD2AA for a few months now since someone mentioned in that thread. I'm also still messing with what I display... so many ways to configure it. I imagine the dev would eventually add profiles or multiple pages, but you'll eventually get hit with PID refresh rate issues like I'm struggling with right now.

Right now you can use the export/import to get a profile like experience. But you have to do that from the phone before connecting to the car, so on the fly switches are still not there. Would be nice to add 3-4 quick switched profiles to the drop down used to get to the TPMS screen.

Haven't noticed anything so far.
After you install it, a changelog pops up and all it says is the generic "Continual Software Improvements"
Also, the update name isn't shown, instead it shows a numeric code.

With the lack of a changelog is anyone able to list the main differences if you've already installed?

Yes. Any higher version can update a lower version. You don't have to go in order... You can skip versions.
From a complete newbie and since i just bought my RS 2 weeks ago. How do i know what version I am on? Cause when i looked at the software screen it says 1.0 but when i try to do a wifi update it says theres nothing. Question is whatever version im on would it be better to download all of the other updates and do them in order or do i skip versions and it will have everything all in one neat package?

Thanks for the help.

The update file will have all previous version's updates and features up to that version.

Ex: v2.2 will have v1.0, v2.0, and v2.1's fixes and features.
Same with 3.0, it has all previous versions rolled in it.

As for which version you're on, it looks like Ford staggers updates or just doesn't send them to all cars for quite some time. You can check https://owner.ford.com/ to verify if there's an update, or you can just manually update using the 3.0 files provided.

Awesome thanks ill look into it.

As far as I can tell they are the same.

Is anyone having problems with Sync 3.0? I did this upgrade in my wife's RS on build 17194 and it is now MASSIVELY slow, you can hit a preset and around 30 seconds later it will change the channel. It worked fine for a couple months (I upgraded my 17 GT350 and my 16 Platinum) within the last week my Platinum is now exhibiting the same issues. I just tried to do the latest upgrade but it finished out saying it was already upgraded and did not increment the build number.

Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dennis

Have you tried doing a Master Reset?

I'm having the same low load/response issue with 3.0 and my Ford dealer can't get a solid fix from Ford. I have to use Apple Carplay to do much of anything. The dealer says it may because I have the IphoneX, I'm not buying that.

I got an iPhone X, no issues with Sync 3.0 but I did update it with the files from the other thread. Not sure if these are the same or not.
