So I have TWO individual 100-Watt Kicker-Powered 8" Sub-enclosure(s) that I'm installing.
In the install instructions there are no RCA connectors, the Kicker wire-harness is using "hi-level" left AND right stereo-speaker channel inputs [(+) & (-)].
MEANING, EACH harness has two green wires [(+) & (-)] and two grey wires [(+) & (-)]
So Kicker-powered sub is receiving a signal-input from two-channels, ie- left and right, to get a full "stereo" sub signal, right?
Guessing here: SO each OEM "pair" of subwoofer wires are considered a "single" channel, right?
Channel-1 > VT (+) and YE (-)
Channel-2 > GN-VT (+) and GY (-)
So in-a-nutshell, meaning I have to go with two Y-connector [(+) and (-)] to split out from EACH OE/Factory single-channel wiring to create 4-channel wiring?
From single VT (+) wire to TWO wires \\ Harness #1
From single YE (-) wire to TWO wires // Harness #1
------------------------------
From single GN-VT (+) wire to TWO wires \\ Harness #2
From single GY (-) wire to TWO wires \\ Harness #2
------------------------------
That's my take on how to use the sub "high" level inputs from the OE harness; and yes, I ordered a molex 4-pin 3.5mm connector with pins to make this "plug-n-play" wiring.
