Happens on my car too. Have a buddy with a Raptor and the Recaro's and it happens to him as well. He had the truck back at the dealer and they replaced the bracket, but still does it. I think it's just the seat brackets Ford uses. I wouldn't be too worried about it to be honest.

 

Huh, that's bizarre. I'm gonna try retorquing all of the seat bolts to spec and see if that does anything. It just makes me lose focus in the middle of turns, which is annoying.

 

22mm seat bar clamp, seat fix

Bought the 21-22mm sway bar clamps to fix the lateral seat movement on my car. 2 videos on YouTube on how to install them, however the differ on the placement. Outside vs inside of that faulty clamp. Anyone seen both videos and want to comment?

Hey all. So my seat started clicking whenever I move some. Usually when clutching, but occasionally other times. I swore in the past I saw on here that there was a service bulletin about the seats but I can’t find that thread and never got a letter. Anyone know? I’m taking it for a 30,000 mile...

RS2 seat bottom rotates/clicks or a squeak from center...

Anyone else dealing with this? They touch each other and are constantly squeaking. Most noticeably from the driver's seat contacting the leather on the armrest. It's maddening. Has anyone found a fix?

Just bought these off Amazon for my clicking, shifting, loose seat. 7/8" works out to 22.2mm

 

Oh wow... I've had the same problem and just chalked it up to either a can of fix-a-flat I thought maybe I left behind there or like you said... just a socket wrench lying around. Definitely feel this on hard turns. Is it just the driver seat? I haven't been a passenger in my own car yet to feel if the same problem exists on the passenger side as well. Will be picking up some clamps this weekend I suppose! Good info!

 

Passenger side does not have the same mechanism to adjust the height, just slides back and forth.

Its just the driver aside.
