I have the same problem with a bad ballast-to-bulb cable that's causing the HID bulb to flicker or shut off intermittently. Problem gets worse in adaptive headlight mode. I ordered aftermarket cables here: DAMA D3S to OSRAM OEM HID Ballast Bulb Input Connectors | Pack of 2
