From Hennessy's site:

Hennessey Performance (HPE) will be offering high-performance upgrade systems for the 2016 Ford Focus RS. Our upgrade parts will include: Engine management tuning, air induction systems, intercooler systems, stainless steel downpipes and exhaust upgrades, turbo system upgrades, wheels, tires and more. Stay tuned for more updates coming soon.

Friends don't let friends give John Hennessy money. His parts for the Focus ST are a joke and his RS parts will be as well.

I would burn my car before I put Hennessy parts on it.

Someone is bound to cross link the mountains of horror stories of what that guy has done to people's cars...or not done, as some cases were. But he sure had no problem taking money.

I'm both happy and sad that Hennessey has mentioned they'll be working with his platform.

It's good to see another Tuner show up but I'm sad given it's Hennessey given the notoriety, just do a Better Business Bureau search to see more.

The package that was offered for the FoST was more than double the $'s spent for what other tuners offered and was the same claimed power output.

From Edmunds.com: http://www.edmunds.com/car-news/2013-ford-focus-st-tweaked-by-hennessey.html

Just the Facts:

•Hennessey Performance Engineering has released a tuning package for the 2013 Ford Focus ST.
•The standard package costs $1,495 and includes an ECU tune and intake.
•HPE is also offering a Magnaflow exhaust as a $695 upgrade.

Their HPE300 FoST had a hard time being sold after the you tube video was released of them smoking the tires at a dragway event.

Once Hennessey listed the FoST on eBay it made many FoST forum members laugh with the many errors it contained in the write up.

If this is going to be your route, do your research and be very cautious.

For anyone who'd like a little history lesson on Hennessey, and his "troubles" with the high performance community... please be sure to have plenty of coffee and popcorn ready. His problems go back a long way.

This thread will give you a little idea. Jeep SRT8 Turbo Road Testing - Cherokee SRT8 Forum

There's no doubt that dude can make some VERY fast cars. If there's THAT much smoke, there's gotta be a fire somewhere. Read up, and make your own judgement. I don't have any personal experience with him, But based on what I've read on this guy, I wouldn't buy an air freshener from him.

I made it to page 5 before I was laughing out loud. My manager keeps telling me to get back to work. If I lose my job, it's because of you, @Gokart3.

Masturbating in the shower. John's so professional...

With the amount of people he's bitten, I'm still amazed that someone hasn't made him room temperature yet.

"We've, uh, built a custom cold air intake which picked up about 13 horsepower at the rear wheels."

Holy ****... JH made his FoST rear wheel drive?! Sign me up for that $20k kit!

I'm glad people actually know the truth about Hennessey. Most people just read an article about the Venom or 1200 hp Viper and think that means he builds a good product. This guy is a criminal, and anyone who gives him money is an idiot. When the man literally has parted out customer's Vipers, you know something is wrong. AutoWeek actually wrote an article on this a few years ago.

Most interesting quote I saw in that SRT-8 article about Hennessy: "Yet another reliable source, Car and Driver Published this in Sept 2002:

"There is, of course, no place in the world where talk is cheaper than on an Internet message board, and a few lurid posts hardly constitute proof of wrongdoing. So I went to the Web site of the Houston Better Business Bureau (www. bbbhou.org) and searched for Hennessey Motorsports. The BBB reported 12 complaints filed against Hennessey in the past 36 months, of which seven were in the past year. Of the 12 complaints, only one was listed as resolved. To put this performance in context, I ran checks with the local BBBs of every participant in our Supercar Challenge. Just one other complaint turned up, against AutoThority, and it was described as "resolved."

Then I went to Dun & Bradstreet, the financial research firm, where for $117 I purchased a comprehensive report on Hennessey Motorsports. For comparison, I also purchased a report on the well-known Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. The report indicated that LPE was financially sound, with no liens, lawsuits, or judgments pending against it. In contrast, the Hennessey report revealed that courts have four times ruled against the company and that there are 10 lawsuits currently in various stages and three liens. The D&B report also provided a "Financial Stress National Percentile" rating, measured on a 1-to-100 scale, with 100 being the best possible score. Hennessey's company had a rating of one. (LPE had a 79.)"
"

This "Financial Stress National Percentile" rating shows a business that is effectively running as a Ponzie or Pyramid scheme, IMO. Many of the stories about missing or sold parts tend to support this, again IMO.

Yep - Ponzi schemes always require constant influxes of cash.

Not the first one. AXIS Motorsports did it then left hundreds of Subaru people out $100s of thousands of dollars when he left country with all the money. Karmas a ***** when your stolen money bought car flips on autobahn and leaves you in ahospital bed for life.

AMS Performance has stated they are in the game on RS. They cost a little more but parts are high quality. Tuning is top notch as well.
