Fiesta ST trumps Focus RS (and Focus ST) on Passenger Seat Setup in USA

As noted in this story, the USA Focus RS lacks a height-adjustable passenger seat: http://http://www.automobilemag.com/features/columns/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-2016-ford-focus-rs/

It's the same setup with the U.S. Focus ST but, strangely, the U.S. Fiesta ST gets a height-adjustable passenger seat with the Recaro seat option. The cloth/leather Recaros are also heated on the Fiesta ST. Not so on the Focus ST or Focus RS.

Also, it looks like the Focus RS lacks the Focus ST 'ST3' rear center armrest and overhead console.

It's pretty poor that a $36k car is fitted with a passenger seat with such limited adjustment.

I don't want the Focus RS to be a luxury car but we sure do get shortchanged on some basic features, especially with the seats.

I really don't plan on driving from the passenger seat. If I do end up on that seat, that means my wife is driving so I'll be asleep.

love the enthusiasm, but
if every option under the sun appeared on the RS it would cost more, weigh more and people would complain it included too many creature comforts and was overpriced.

now if someone tells me the drivers side sun visor doesn't have a vanity mirror I'm going to lose my ****!

I could really care less about the passenger seat. It will be empty 5 days out of the week.
