⬆!! It’s also a lesson in how not to do business.
Esslinger has been around a very long time. Every business has to eat one once in awhile.
But parts backward…and nothing? That violates more than I can think up.
That about sums it up for me, too.

I have just gone thru a very bad experience with Esslinger also. Bought a Esslinger STAGE3 short block 2+ years ago, new head, Precision Turbo, etc. etc. Had oil usage issues from day 1. Called Brian and tried all the open crankcase vent, etc etc. suggestions. put the best of everything in the build - intercooler, intake, downpipe, exhaust. Ran like a bat out of hell, but smoke and oil usage. I kept thinking it was a turbo and crankcase ventilation issue. After 2 years of fighting it, pulled the engine and tore it down. Piston ring land and Total Seal ring issues, scarred cylinder walls etc. I tried ordering oversized pistons for the long rod setup and have gotten the runaround for many many weeks. Proprietary to Esslinger Racetek told me, so I had no option without replacing very expensive rods. Never could get a firm delivery date after being told it would only take 3-4 weeks. Called them today and now it will be Christmas or later. I gave up and demanded a refund. Brian blamed it on their supplier, Racetek. I just can’t trust anything at this point and am sure my oil usage issues from day 1 go back to their build. Now I have 4 expensive Callie’s long rods I can’t get pistons for. Going back to standard length rods and pistons from trusted suppliers - so I’ll be out another $2 TO $3K by the time I complete build. At least I’ll know what I have by building myself. Esslinger cost me a lot of $ and wasted time/labor. Buyers beware……. Hope to see refund in my account Monday. If not, I’ll let the entire Ecoboost community know on all social media.
