I was looking at the car today, and just scratching my head about the length of the sway bar endlink on the front..:(

Funny how it's like chrome, they are grease filled also. (should we spray rush inhibitor paint on the CV's)

On further pondering, I noticed a turbo like hose.

Attached to the hose, was a Honeywell turbo with three torx (T-30) screws.

You can find this on the passenger side, with the wheel cocked to the right or with the wheel off.
Hobbit hands would help, but looks like there's some clearance. Mind you, I have not tried anything
with the valve, just looking.

I took off my wheel and swapped out the bypass valve for a TS dual port bov and noticed it builds boost a little faster but then realized I should take it off as I'm under warranty. Its not too hard to take off but be careful if you do cause the spring is pushing out on the plastic cover so mindful and push down on the plastic cover when taking off the last screw.

Sort of. A recirc valve recirculates the charge air to the intake tract; whereas when I think of a blow off valve, I think of a VTA stye valve that makes the rushing air sound.

Both serve the same purpose. One just sounds cooler depending on your taste. :)

Fitted mine from underneath, obviously with tray removed. Was quite easy, 5 minute job. I went with the Turbosmart recirc valve. I was quite surprised of the flimsy quality of the factory unit. Cheap plastic with a simple diaphragm and spring. I suppose it does the job but think it would give you grief in years to come. The Turbosmart unit is quality all the way.

Whilst there is no performance gain, I must say the car builds up boost better now. Seems to come on stronger than with the stock unit.

Cheers
