they are LARGE blades. What about swapping with the passenger side?

 

They are different side to side (aero)

 

I recently replaced the front wipers on my '12 Ti with Bosch ICON wipers. According to Bosch's site, the '16, 2.3L (aka RS) uses the same part #..

Bosch Icon Blades:
Driver's / left side: 28AOE
Passenger / right side: 28BOE

I received 2 of the same part from Amazon - they're interchangeable (at least Bosch's are), and that much is stated on Bosch's site, too.. "Installation Restrictions: Can use 28OE"

IMO, the blades are great - they do the job and they're quiet. Lame that yours showed up with a bum blade in the first place, but replacements are available.

Just checked my stock, and we have some available. Possibly an issue with the local distribution center?

Thats if its just the blade, and not the arm.

Wiperblade update



According to three gearheads at thanksgiving dinner, the problem is neither the blade nor the arm.
The twerky motion on the upward movement is caused by the motor.

 

5 months later Ford still has no wiper blades. Dealer said there are none in stock in the country. Now the rear windshield wiper blade fell off

 

You can go to Amazon and check if there is something you need. I think you can find the best wiper blades for your car windshield because there are a lot of sellers selling almost all kinds of windshield wipers, of different brands, sizes, and so on.

 

Old thread, but great deal on Amazon brand wiper blades. I'll post again on the quality once I get them.

I'm pretty partial to the OEM blades - I still have the originals on my 69k mile 2016. I can't believe they are still wiping as good as they did when new. I have had to replace the rear blade a couple of times. Part numbers are BM5Z-17528-M (LH) and BM5Z-17528-N (RH). The Motorcraft numbers for these are WW-2958 and WW-2959.

Any Ford dealer who had ordered these probably has more as they had to buy a box of 10 each originally. I bet my old dealer in NC still has 9 of each.

 

I'm actually the same way lol! Car still has the original wiper blades front and back and they are somehow still wiping cleanly (and quietly). I'm so impressed that I will most definitely pick up the OEMs again once these do start failing, although there's a good chance they will be from an entirely different supplier.
