I was thinking of custom ordering a set Forgestars. I really want the deep concave. I can customize the offset and I am on ST XTA coilovers with rear camber arms. I don't want tons of camber. I love the look of our cars on 19's. Think I can make it work?

With coilovers it should be easy. At least in the front.

I'm running a 19/9s 43 offset(slightly stretched 245s), that tuck without any rolling or trimming things.

Coilover should give you more room around the coils to get your 9.5. Maybe a 10 if you don't mind some poke.

Ok, now this is something I want to hear more about, Full-Race Geoff!

What wheels and tires you are running? How much camber and is there any rubbing? KW V3s?

Thank you in advance.

Geoff that is gorgeous! 19x9.5 +42 is what I was looking at also. According to a tire calculator online it should be perfect.

+1000 - I need a wider wheel for a lot of reasons (also BBK) and a 19x9.5 should be perfect - those look fantastic
what wheel is that and what size are the tires?

I still wish that Advan RZII GB had come in 19s. An alternative to 9.5 +42 would be a nice 9 +38.

I REALLY would like to put that same size/offset on my car but DAMN that looks like a tight fit. I cant imagine too many worse things than spending $4k on some rims and having fitment issues. Are those street drive-able with no rubbing?

chumpracerj - thank you for doing that homework and posting those. I am curious if you have found out how much each weighs?

It would be nice if we could get maybe one of the big Mustang wheel specialists like Need4Speed or Apex wheels to come up with some nice, lightweight, and not super expensive options.

Need4speed has a RS with Project 6GR 19x9.5 wheels posted on fb. $415.00/wheel. No weight spec 5x114.3 so adapters are required.

https://n4sm.com/catalog/product/view/id/152370/s/project-6gr-wheels-satin-black-ford-focus/category/7/#configure-product

Apex does not have a 19x9.5 with 5X108 lug pattern. You would need to use adapter for this size wheel https://www.apexraceparts.com/wheels.html?apex_wheel_diameter=6

I spent the day Friday with Dan at the BC Forged shop in Ormond beach. Everything got measured in detail on my car with the KW V3's and Vorshlag camber plates installed and my wheels are tires are ordered. I'll probably keep mum for all the exact specs till the wheels are on (so I look like less of a jackass if something doesn't fit right) but I ordered 19x9.5's HCS04s with 275/30/19's.

Dan is keen on making a full write up on all the measurements, offsets, backspace, camber etc - and what will and won't fit once we have the wheels on and test fit some tire sizes and i'm all for it. At minimum we are gonna do some Toyo R888R 265/30/19's and Proxes T1R 275/30/19's and I have some rear massive camber arms ordered for the event so we can leave no fitment stone unturned.

EDIT: we are pretty sure there is room for 10's in back FWIW.

chumpracerj - yes, that's why I said it would be nice if one of those guys would come up with something RS-specific.

dBaseD- that sounds like a really cool option - good luck and keep us updated!

Michelin Cup 2 come 275/35/19 diameter is 26.6" about 1.1" larger than 275/30/19. do you think they will fit?

Really depends on the tread width I think. The R888R in 265/30 was 1/2 inch wider that than the 275/30 T1R with both mounted to a 9.5 inch wheel. I don't know if Cup2's are significantly wider at that size or not.

I recall Dan saying the larger Michelin widths had a weird shaped mold that made them tough to figure fitment on wide wheels but he was pointing at PSS's on the rack, I don't know if Cup2's are the same. I'll make sure we note the tread and section width of the tires, once we figure out what's the biggest that fits, anything smaller should be ok. Keep in mind tires with bigger rolling diameter are going to be more likely to rub on full lock side to side.

I have Forgestar 19x9.5 +48 with their deep concave no rubbing and actually sitting inside the fender well stock suspension 255/35/19 Michelin pilot sport, it can be done.

I think at stock height in front - stock struts have more room than coilovers. There is no way +48 fits the front when lowered with coilovers IMO. Additionally - if you were to lower it significantly with just springs, the stock spring perches might interfere with tire clearance though I admit that is speculation based on looking at the stock setup sitting in a box next to my computer.

After seeing it measured in person - I would say for anyone looking for wider wheels - pick your suspension first. It will have a significant effect on fitment options.
