What parts for trans rebuild/refresh

Hey there boys. I just realized how much time is running out and I need to start ordering parts asap. Ice racing starts in January! I need your guys help on other stuff I’ve missed. I’ve read a few of the other threads but I’m confused to be honest.

clutch has been slipping for a while, so I’m going to drop the trans and do a bit of an upgrade and rebuild while doing the clutch. Right now on the shelf I have…

  • clutchmasters 725 twin disc clutch
  • 725 steel flywheel
  • braided clutch line
  • ACT release bearing
  • carbon synchros + selector rings?
  • quaife LSD
  • mountune diff install kit (diff bolts, 2 carrier bearings, 2 axle seals, ptu seal

To be ordered still
  • bronze upgrade selector forks from jacks transmissions
  • maybe the billet shift fork as well, but that’s probably a waste of money
-??????

so my question is, what is missing off my list? I know the trans is filled with dozens of bushings, bearings, seals etc. but I’m not trying to build a brand new trans. I’d rather open, inspect and reuse where possible. I’m sure most the needle bearings and stuff are fine.

are there seals im missing? Should I be doing anything to the PTU?

thanks in advance for any guidance. Edit: just rolled over 90k km (55k miles)

Does the clutchmater 725 have sprung friction plates?
If not that’s a hell of a lot of shock transferred into the gearbox
If you have sprung friction plates you don’t need carbon synchros as the clutch takes all the shock.
I’m still running a standard LSD gearbox with OEM synchros for the last 7 years, it’s been tuned in various stages from day one and finished in 2020 and the box is fine.
It’s these unsprung solid friction plates that kill the boxes.
