Normnal indicated operating temp for me (street driven only, NO track) is the needle is just below the half way mark in the gage. Maybe the more "track" orientated guys will be able to ID a specific temp/temp range for you?
If it is in that position, it is good. Oil temps should hover around the middle of the gage (around 210 F according to my Cobb AP) when warmed up and cruising at ambient temps around 75 F. Hottest I've had it was around 270 F on the track (track temp around 105 F) and the gage was right around the 3/4 mark, and everything was fine but I did start to notice the oil pressures dropping, so that was the point I started backing off.Hi,
New to the RS, when is the pil temp to high? Where is the needle on the gauge?
Thanks
