ST Suspension Systems made by KW, have just released a full system for the Focus RS platform. These are an improvement over factory suspension and offer practically unlimited adjustment. If you want to alter ride height or make adjustments for the track, these are perfect for RS Enthusiasts.

Adjustable aluminum Unibal top mounts, dampers that are adjustable with 16 clicks in rebound and linear race springs is what characterizes the ST XTA coilover suspension for the new Ford Focus RS (DYB). The 350-hp “compact sports car” with four-wheel drive can be lowered by up to 55 mm ST XTA coilover kit from KW automotive that is made in Germany. With the ST suspension that was developed in cooperation with the rally driver Ken Block, the Focus RS steers more direct and almost craves for curves. It is supported by the supplied Unibal top mounts made of aluminum for the front axle. Alternatively, ST suspensions also has progressive lowering springs in program.

Ford Focus RS was made available for the first time with all-wheel drive. The 350 hp compact sports car captured the hearts of sports car fans worldwide. As one of the first providers, ST suspensions offers an extensive range of suspension components. The highlight of the ST suspensions program for the Ford Focus RS, that was developed in collaboration with the Ford rally driver Ken Block, is the ST XTA coilover kit. Compared to regular sports suspensions and coilovers, the ST suspension manufactured by KW automotive in Germany allows for adjusting the dampers in just a few simple steps. The damping forces can be adjusted to be more comfortable or tight with just a few spins of a dial. The adjustable aluminum Unibal top mounts for the front axle are included in the delivery. By changing the camber, the tires get an optimum contact area when cornering. This is ideal for drivers who want to get the maximum performance for their Ford Focus RS but miss the opportunity of a camber adjustment on the stock RS suspension. The times when a coilover kit is harder than a conventional suspension kit are long gone. By using shorter damper housings, the spring travel of coilover suspension for road use may be up to one centimeter longer than a standard suspension. So despite the lowering, enough comfort remains in everyday life.

Camber is adjustable in the front. These will be coming straight from Germany which they gave me a lead time of 6-8 weeks. MSRP is $1699 plus $75 in shipping.

This is a bang-up price on quality kit from an authorized dealer. Will be purchasing these as soon as I can convince the boss (wife) that I need to modify yet ANOTHER car. :rofl2:
Thanks for the shout out @fourZero. I say this all the time, not only do I sell you the parts that make your wife/boss/significant other/mind of reason give you that look. I also know a really great jeweler. Everybody wins!

I think he was asking how much adjustment is included in the camber plates (-/+ degrees)? Why only the fronts adjustable camber?
@VividRacing, +1 on what camber adjustment range this setup provides. Also, any word on the KW Variant 3?

@Hank, coilovers for the Focus' (and many other makes) type of suspension setup rarely come with rear camber adjustment. There are other parts that are modified/replaced in order to adjust rear camber, that aren't part of the damper-spring design the way the fronts are.

According to KW, there is no data, no set adjustment range on their coilovers, so I can't really give you a straight answer on that. Within reason would be the best answer I can give you, enough range to dial it in for track use and even tire wear.

@Focused is correct, the rear utilizes a camber arm for adjustment.

This is great news! Newbie question, if you wouldn't mind... Is there a benefit of a single adjustable rebound shock to one that adjusts both compression and rebound at the same time?
There's no benefit to not having bound/rebound adjustment except maybe it's harder to set up (i.e. easier to mess up) a dual-adjustable system.

Unless you're a hardcore track junkie, I don't see the need for it.

Spring rates? Also once the factory servos have been disconnected will we still be able to cycle through modes to change the throttle mapping and electronic nannies?

@Hank here is your rear camber adjustment.

Thanks fourZero. I could see tweaking two adjustments being a RPIA. I probably didn't pose my question correction. I was asking about a single adjustable shock where the adjustments changes both bound and rebound at the same time (like some of the Konis)?

Part # 18230867 - Just got off the phone with KW because I've heard conflicting reports on these being in stock to 6-8 weeks out.

So my rep did some more digging. The current answer as of today is 4-6 weeks coming out of Germany. Tack on another week for shipping.

I'm looking for that pioneer, that fearless consumer with a keen eye for photography. I'm looking to discount these significantly for the first guy or girl willing to document their install with quality photos and a review for our blog and forum posts. Just need a deposit to get the order placed and you will have at least a month to come up with the rest! PM me if you're interested.
