Well folks the wait is over! We have the Seibon Carbon RS pics fresh from SEMA this morning. Hood, front lip, bumper cover, side skirts, rear wing, rear hatch and rear diffuser.

Feast your eyes, praise, critique & discuss. Just give me a little time to get the details and pricing and we can start working on some great pricing and start placing orders!

Check out the goods from Anderson Composites Here!!

I heard you like lips so we put a lip on your lip...

Semi-unrelated: how difficult is it to paint CF? Weight savings would be great (especially over the front) but I'm not interested if it's not body-colored.

Not difficult at all. Any body shop can handle the task! All of my CF was painted on my S2000.

Yes the vents are functional. FRP skeleton with carbon overlay.
Is there any data to validate the functionality of the vents? In theory, I could drill a hole and say it is a functional vent because it allows the exchange of air from one side of the bonnet to the other. But I'd sure like to see some flow-vis pictures.

The point of carbon aero components aren't just looks and weight savings. There is definitely engineering involved, front lips and diffusers are designed to function, vented hoods are designed to dissipate heat. Will I be able to get any testing results from Seibon on the kind of temps the vented hoods alleviate? I don't know but I will certainly inquire about it!

Please tell me this is going to be available in a matte finish
That is yet to be mentioned. Matte carbon is always more pricey than the gloss. Based off Seibon's catalog, there's usually a couple pieces that they will do in matte. Thanks for inquiring, I will add this to my list of questions!
