If you could pull that off that would be amazing.
Or if you find one at a dealer maybe possible to sell them on the idea of a extended test drive I’ve been able to bring a few vehicles home for the weekend.
Explain them the situation and that you are trying to buy it for him as a surprise. But need the ok also it’s a big purchase.
As long as you don’t add a ton of miles they may be ok as they have insurance and they do allow test drives.

A car seat would fit.
@Si2RS can answer this better.
Looks like a few folks have already confirmed, but yes, I can confirm my son's car seat fit easily in the back seat of my RS.

Thanks I will check it out but still hoping for a RS miracle here in Rochester for a little bit longer lmao
There are a lot of people here in Rochester, NY with RSs in every color. I don't know if you're going to have much luck with someone renting one unless the RS is their second car. I think your best bet is to try and get an extended test drive. I also fit two car seats in the back without a problem (1 Britax & 1 Diono). I wish I could rent you mine, but I'm getting ready to sell it and can't really risk anything happening to it. If I still have it when you're getting married and something changes I can let you know.

Thank you I appreciate it! I'm thinking about trying the extended test drive yes. But also contemplating buying one. We are getting married end of April so i have a little bit of time. Decided I'd rather do a small cheaper wedding to try and get him his dream car. May I ask why you are selling yours?

I think the car seat fitting in the rear seats depends on how tall you are. Me 5'6" and wife 5'2" we can fit two car seats (Diono and Rear Facing (Don't remeber brand now) and booster seat. But if I were 6'2 like my friend, then a booster was would not fit behind him because of leg room for him and kid. I will say the kids were young and their knee was not yet at the point were they could bend it downward to keep their lower feet in the footwell.

Getting married is a romantic, wonderful day full of memories.
But, I don’t know anybody who is, more married, because the cake cost $3000.
