Hey guys, i need your advice.

my car threw a check engine light yesterday.
went to the shop, put it in obd and got some turbo fault codes.
It makes insufficient power/ boost but there seams to be no leakage.
Its a 2016 ford focus rs, mountune intake, mountune recirculation valve and muffler delete. No further tuning or so .... anyone got advice or had this problem before ?

Do you have the actual fault codes? That can help on figuring out what can be the culprit.

Have you checked any leaks on the recirc valve?

I didnt memorize the fault codes ...
there is no pressure leak anywhere.
Next week ill be swapping to the oem recirc valve , if that doesnt solve it i guess the turbo is broken ....

I think thats what my mechanic is going to check. Changing back to original recirc. Valve and checking the solenoid.... any more advice on what to check apart from the turbo itself ?

Maybe a stuck WasteGate actuactor might contribute as well. Make sure you check on that and you don't need to remove it to do so. Just apply compressed air to it and see if it operates by opening/closing the wastegate (I use a bicycle pump to operate it to open when replacing/calibrating the WGA, that ghetto solution works like a charm!).
