Turbo boost surging up and down under WOT

So I've noticed my car recently after like 4k rpms under wot has a boost issue, ill leave a link to the video, the boost fluctuates from like 17 to 13 back and forth a lot. Doesn't seem good. No tune, intercooler, mountune recirc valve, stock wastegate. Anyone have any ideas?

What gear were you in? Is your car tuned? Have you checked for any loose piping?

I haven't checked any of that yet, thats my next move, I'm away from home right now that's why I haven't looked. No tune. Stock. Intercooler. Mountune recirc valve, does it in every gear except 1st and 2nd
Did you manage to figure it out? Possible damange to hose from recirc valve

You might be right, gotta check everything, haven't gotten around to it yet

My car does this too. I thought it may be a boost leak because I have a mountune B7 kit which comes with a 91 octane tune. When I put the stock tune back on I noticed it dosent do it. So im kinda lost.

That looks like a bad tune.

Sounds like it. Upgraded waste gate?

Is that fords fault? It just got a new motor

Stock wastegate
Could be the boost control solenoid as well
If you can, verify that all boost control hoses are correctly routed and pull the terminal off the battery for 10 minutes or so and do a battery monitoring reset as-well. Some issues with these cars come around because of the battery being funny.

If you had a boost leak it would be a very distinct whistling, not that kind of fluctuation of boost pressure.

If the car is not dialed in with custom tuning, then this is very likely to happen. Let me know if you need help with that.

I just got a check engine light for p0420 bad catalytic converter, which was replaced at 78k, car has a new motor now, maybe the cat is clogged? I've got a catless downpipe
That's pretty normal for an aftermarket downpipe, I fixed mine by installing a defoulder on the front O2 sensor.

Elusive Racing - O2 Sensor 90 Degree Defouler Extension

Also, if you have a catless downpipe there is not anything there to get clogged.

he's the most experienced tuner on our ford ecu's. also very easy/friendly to work with. will explain details and answer questions...as other tuners may not have the patience to.
i've been running his tunes for 60k miles now. zero issues. just solid performance.
you will need a cobb access port and a laptop to transfer data through email. also a 1/2 mile smooth/flat open road.
