Two new renderings with the rumored Ford Mondeo RS have recently surfaced online, giving us a glimpse on how the model may be like.
Along with the launch of the brand new Ford Focus RS, with its impressive engine and technology, and also with the RS version of its smaller brother, the Fiesta, in the pipeline, the next obvious question would involve such a variant for the Mondeo mid-sized sedan too. The model in question is said not to receive such a range topping model but that doesn’t mean that we cannot enjoy it, in the virtual world at least.
The two images posted below are nothing more than simple renderings which have been put together by X-Tomi Design and, from the start, we can notice the more aggressive body kit with the updated front grille, the new front bumper inspired by the one of the Focus RS, the larger side skirts, the different rear bumper, the diffuser which, to be honest, is not looking that good and the large trunk wing.
Completing the design is also the double exhaust system at the rear and the multi-spoke larger alloy wheels, along with the rear privacy glass. If I will indeed make it into production, the model in question will also get a reworked suspension system, some tweaks made to the chassis, upgraded braking system and several other tweaks. Power will probably be provided by the 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost, from the mid-range Mustang and new Focus RS, which might produce about 350 HP.
