It is a current color on the 15 ST.

 

There it is! It's not as dark as I was hoping, but the lighting could be playing tricks.

 

I believe they call it Magnetic Metallic on the ST, but I think it is the same color. There was a teaser of one in gray at in the video apparently. What a neat color.

Maybe its just me but I think its Stealth Gray on the ST. Completely different color than Magnetic... that's what I hope they bring to the RS. That color that you see on the prototype RS and the 15 ST is nice, but nowhere near Magnetic Metallic that comes as an option on the 15 Mustangs.

Personally more a fan of the Metallic colors... my 2006 focus zx4 was liquid gray... AWESOME Color. I liked tux black as well on my 13 ST

Dang I am in love with this car! I actually can't wait to see it blacked out. That with some of the RS blue accents and brake calipers would just be breathtaking.

 

it looks like a liquid gray to me. I'd love to see it in person and in different lighting. I'm still surprised that they're only offering 4 colors.

IMO the RS looks best in the current launched Blue. Reminds me of the RS in WRC championships some years ago.

 

It doesn't look bad in Blue but for me it's just way too loud. It screams boy racer and i don't want the extra attention.

 

Magnetic isn't the same as the Stealth Grey. Stealth is a flat colour and is only available on the ST in Europe.

actually the ST comes in magnetic. they haven't verified its the same as it. it could be closer to avalanche grey from the gt350

 

Once again Ford with it's Global car is confusing us all with their different naming of the available vehicle colors. I believe since the FoRS is going to be made/assembled in Europe it'll come to the US as the European color version above and nothing close to the US 2015 ST color of Magnetic Metallic.

 

Damn it, @STenthusiaST, you keep reminding me of the Liquid Gray I got rid of and miss to this day.

 

I miss it! Great color, didn't show dirt or swirls at all.

I don't really like the flat, Stealth Gray... I'm hoping it comes to the US as Magnetic... its a really good color (its not liquid gray though... )

Now I don't know which color I like best, especially since we're not even sure which gray it's going to be. I think it looks fantastic in the blue, but the gray with the black accents looks pretty mean. Ford, would you mind sending me 2 please, just so I can compare colors?

Thanks for the welcome! Mustard and Ketchup are doing well, although I think perhaps Mustard is getting a sense that she might be needing to find a new home to make room for her soon-to-be big brother. Too bad the RS isn't coming out in green, I could just keep both STs and have Mustard, Ketchup, and Pickles.

 

Such a hideous color. It looks like primer with clear coat. They should've gone with a metallic grey...and NOT the one on the standard focus.

 

I like it, but I've owned a DGM ( dark gray metallic ) STi since 08 and am over it. My car already blends into the Pacific Northwest overcast weather as it is. If it was flat or matte finish it would be worse. So far I'm going for the nitrus blue.

been creeping this forum for a fortnight, figured i'd better join up. though, this is definitely the color i want if i can get this car. it will match my truck. haha
