Raced at Atlanta Motorsports Park 10th Anniversary event last weekend. The “Triathlon” featured autocross, “watercross,” and drags. Snagged FTD on autocross and did well enough in the other two to grab the overall win. The prize is a “Lotus Driving Experience” in the Evora, which I’m pretty stoked about.

Those Anderson fenders add 1cm, right? I was figuring that would help... that's good to know. Did you do anything extra to make them fit the rear? My 265's are close to the fender, and don't have much of a gap to the shock... so I wasn't sure. Yours are further out than mine, so maybe there is more clearance than I thought there was. Are those wheels like a +35 offset?

They are +38 offset. Once I lower the car and correct rear camber I'll see if I need to pull the rear fenders a little or not.

I only run 1-2 autocrosses a year just to get out and play. The first couple I did with my RS last year were on the Toyo all seasons the dealer had installed (I bought it used) . This spring I put on PS4's for my summer tires. Since I do so few autoX I prioritized a street performance tire. I looked back a lot of pages but not seeing info for street tire pressures - it could be that serious autoX needs to have 200TW tires so most of the discussion there.
Here is what I have
  • PS4 tires stock size on stock 19x8 wheels
  • bone stock suspension - parts, alignment etc.
At an autoX a few weeks ago I started with about 43F and 41R. I forgot to bring my chalk... but sure seemed like the tires were rolling over past the markers. I upped to 46F 44R. Without chalk hard to tell if they rolled over any less. Have another in a few weeks (last one of the year - then snow takes over) and thought I'd see if there are any recommendations. I realize most are on autoX tires and those pressures do not apply. If anyone has experience with a stock setup let me know!!

edit - here is a pic of a front tire - what led me to add is how far down the dark pattern went. when looking closely the abrasion isn't too bad around where triangles would be (there are other little icons) but you can see there had to be something going on. Maybe this is normal with street tires? Or with PS4? Or just touching pavement but not wearing?
And my times were not too bad. Since I don't run often I'm of course not at the sharp end of DS, or over the past 20+ years whatever class/carr I"ve been running. I was 5 of 6, 4 sec ahead of 6, and about 4 sec back from P1. Only a sec back from P3 and 4th. And much closer to P1 than when I had the all seasons on!!!!!!!!

So if I was to find a set of 18x8s in a class legal offset, and steal the 265-35-18 Yokos that I ran on my Evo in STU this year - what pressures would I need to run in BS? 45 psi?

I have no expectations of longevity, etc. I figure the Evo is gonna get new tires next year and these 265 Yokos don't really have a job otherwise.

Pressures are not restricted generally, except maybe minimum pressures in modified classes. Run what pressures you want.
Sorry for the ambiguity, I'm not asking what pressures are legal, just what pressures are desirable :)

I figure a 265 on an 8 is going to need a lot, and I saw 45 mentioned earlier in the thread in the context of the Nexens.
