The good thing with the RS is that you do not need to replace all 4 tires if one goes lol. I am considering doing 18 inch wheels as that would give me a more comfortable ride. The 19inch allows get a beating on Mexican rural roads. A small pot hole hit at the correct spot would not damage tire but easily scrape the rim right below tire. Anyway, I drive with 46 PSI all four tires to have them as solid as possible for any impact lol.

The DSC Sport Controller I installed some time ago, definitely did help with ride comfort and i have it set to default. Just plugged it and forgot about it.

91 OCT TUNE
On 91 Oct tune as mentioned earlier it runs great and hits 24.5 PSI at redline. It does not tapper down. I very rarely get a neg correction in city driving too. OAR always -1. knock counts 0-1 city driving. Runs very smooth at low rpm.

I noticed something and got sorted but many probably never notice and that was neg correction in boost but when going faster so i think it relates to more load due to wind force on car or something. I would notice it if i got to 210-220 kmh and maintaining speed and then give more throttle it would blip neg correction. So most depending where they live are not driving in that range. I usually don't but in Mexico it is easy to do it if on a private toll road.

On 91 Oct with 50/50 WMI + 1% nitromethane

On 91 Oct with 50/50 WMI + 1% nitromethane mix and one aquamist Jet I hit 30.3 PSI and am told i need more fuel so i added another jet. More on jets here ---- 806-3XX ---- 0.4 to 1.2mm Atomising jet for 4mm hose (R) My current jet flows around 600 cc/min at 30psi *it is not on the image below.

A good place on jet sizing i found is here Aquamist: How to Calculate Water Injector Jetting - Xtreme Racing Tuning and based on that and my XDI injector flow.... 600cc approx. flow is not enough. Added another jet that would add 540 cc/min to the mix, will do a data log and send away and wait for a tune update

Below image is taking into account 10% for pumping losses through the system, hence why it states compensated. A 1.2mm jet would flow 540cc at 30psi of boost.

What i did find was a loose clamp that is closest to the throttle body. That may explain it? I had removed it the other day to add/weld a bung to the ets hardpipe. Either i did not tighten enough or forgot to tighten it.

Also, cant find the new o2 sensor i had laying around lol!

The KEY to secure boost tubes is CLEAN & DRY connections. If there is oil/grease, blow by, mould release, etc on the pipe or inside the hose it WILL blow off eventually no matter how tight the clamp. I’ve NEVER had any tube, pipe, hose leak or pop off because I make sure every connection is clean and dry before attaching.

I ALWAYS use regular screw-type clamps because you can crush the pipe with those awful bolt-clamps.

My case was user error. I was under the car, removed and reinstalled the section that goes to the throttle body. Forgot to clamp the top clamp as I planned ti do it after dropping the car lol

I installed this, it seems to make it less noise. Need to step in it to confirm. sucks that I did not record db before. But it seems to have deeper tone now.

Added this to my wmi system close to jet T. because my fast acting valve was far from them.

This was a ***** to remove. changed it due to codes a while ago that mentioned the sensor and left me stranded on highway but ofcourse it might not have been an issue with it but changef it regardless as it has seen it's share of oil blowby from earlier engine.

Tune wise, still not done as we have the issue with xdi pump running away with psi higher than demanden so it can go to 3500psi when demanden is like 2000psi and ecu cuts power.

apparently other RS owners with same issue with xdi but not on mustang that has different ecu. So tuner reached out to cobb and xdi.

Sorry for thread jack... But can anyone speak to the actual drop-in nature of the Bosch HPFP? I purchased one from MSD at the link included here, and took it to my local shop, as I didn't trust myself on the install... They called to let me know the hard line would need modified to make the Bosch HPFP work, and they didn't feel comfortable trying to manipulate the hard line.

Does my shop not know what they're doing, or is there a need to purchase a modified hard line to make the Bosch HPFP work??
on the xdi you need to bend slightly and could be done with the right tools. I got mine to fit fine. xdi also have the option of selling you one pre bent. either way, a new line should be used
