I’ve been looking to replace my RS’ taillights with aftermarket ones. So far, the two I’m considering are the Spec-Ds or the Spyders.

From what I’ve seen, the Spec-Ds have received mostly good feedback, but I’ve heard a fair amount of issues/complaints about them (mainly LEDs giving out).

I’ve only heard good things about the Spyders, but have seen much fewer reviews on them.

I like the look of both, but ultimately the Spyders more because of their sequential turn signals. They are a bit more pricey however...

For people that own/have owned either set of lights, what are your thoughts?

I think it has to do with the styling, the side design is love or hate it with those Spyders.

Ended up buying the Spyders. They look great with Stealth Grey, and I've had zero issues with them.

Looks super clean, I still prefer the oem RS tails but that is just my opinion!

Thanks! They did take some time for me to get used to, but it's been about a year and they've really grown on me
