Sold**** 4 brand new Michelin MPSS Ford spec (FN) 235 35 19 tires. Bought these recently to replace my worn oem tires, but recently sold the RS. These are the light weight Ford OEM spec tires with Ford spec compound. Driven other RS with std MPSS tires and these are better for handling, but more $$.

Argh, just dropped this amount on worser tires! Oh well, I'm in Chicago anyway. How'd you manage to get "ford spec" compound tires? How do you know that they're what you claim? Not challenging, but I didn't even know there were ford spec MPSSs!

If you look just to the right of the letter "C" in Michelin in the blue strip you'll see BSW/ FN. This signifies black sidewall/ Ford spec tires.....Michelin uses mgr initial followed by an N, ie PN = Porsche, MN = Mercedes, FN = Ford, etc.
Found these on the east coast, had less than 10. Not sure whether it is correct, but they claimed they are hard to get bc most of them are sold into Europe bc most Americans aren't aware of the special build for Ford.
They may be available, but you need to specify FN

what is the manufacture date on the sidewall?
3 of them are 4221, 1 is 2021. Stored in climate control area.

Thanks for kind comment. I love, and loved my RS but decided after 6 yrs to move on to something different. I can not begin to explain the joy and pleasure I got from the RS. I also really enjoyed the forum...so much better than other forums....lots of interaction, helpful and great people....you will all be missed.
Took a turn to the "dark side" and something I've been secretly lusting for. Not the usual stuff like a Porsche GT4, but tempted a few times. Like the RS, I wanted something different but purposeful. Something that has great handling and of course enough Power to be entertaining. So I bought a stunning 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. It is a stunningly fast car, great great handling with an incredible chassis and ride.
My first Italian car, so we'll see what adventures that brings.

Nice choice. I’ve taken a look at the Giulia Quadrifoglio a few times. I’ve seen a couple at my local track and they look and sound excellent.

So tempting and I'll be driving by Knoxville next Saturday
They are great tires. I will be home for the next 2 weekends and live only 5mins off of the I-75/I-40 on the west side of Knoxville (near Turkey Creek Mall).
