SOLD

Hi all, I'm offering up my Cobb AP after deciding to keep the RS stock (for now). I bought this from James @ HRI Tuning. I left his custom TUNE+ tune on there - see this thread for some background: http://www.focusrs.org/forum/53-foc...oboost-tuning-fun-not-profit.html#post1095361. I'm looking to recoup costs including USPS priority shipping, and pass to someone who will enjoy it!

A. Item for sale/trade: Cobb Accessport V3, USDM RS (AP3-FOR-004). UNMARRIED and ready to install.
B. Condition: Used, but with unused mount and black face plate.
C. Price/What you want to trade for: $460 shipped, CONUS only. USPS priority will generally get a package to you in 2-3 days. East coast folks might get the pack in 1 day.
D. Location of item: Albany, NY.

I accept PayPal and ship same day. Thanks for looking!

Damn, that's a steal! How come staying stock? Seems like everybody is nervous with all the doom & gloom engine issues...

Bump for a great deal.
@BigFatFlip Personally I'm over fretting about it. I'm going to have fun with mine. If it pops, it pops. I'll deal with it then.

I don't know the details but I think it needs to be unlocked from the last car it tuned.

But you still have to get a tune and I assume this cost more $$?
No, you can go get a Cobb OTS Stage 1 tune in a few seconds.
Well sort of. Assuming your car is pretty much stock (since you're looking for an AP to begin with), you can download the free Cobb OTS stage 1 tune. In fact, it may actually be already loaded in there. If you have further plans ie intercooler, bypass valve etc, then yes, you'll still need a tune.

Thanks for the PM's and interest. Lot of you asked if this is unmarried, and yes it certainly is! This is ready to install without issue. I edited the post to include this. This has Cobb OTS maps loaded up, the same ones from their website. It also has a custom TUNE+ tune on it from James' RS. I didn't run it and don't know if I'd recommend trying, but I didn't want to delete it either.

Nervous? If it breaks it gets fixed, that's nothing to worry about. Ford ($F) isn't exactly doing so hot as a business. To punish a scarce few fanboys for tuning their flagship hot-hatch, in a day and age of social media having real influence, is just not plausible. Enjoy the car fellas! I'm keeping it stock to afford a new deck in the backyard. I fully plan on having one of the quicker/faster RS's alive.
