ST trunk foam and cover have a notch for this. You'd have to cut out part of the foam and then gut a ST trunk floor carpet. ST foam won't fit without modifications

#4 ·
The "green" connector 'pig tail' ... plugs into the subwoofer's green connector ... it is the 'matching connector'

One then will 'butt-splice' this 'pig tail' wires to the wires that go to the RS subwoofer ... .

#6 ·
Or wire the pigtail from the green connector to a molex 334824001 connector, which should plug directly into the RS sub plug.

Some "modification" will be needed to fit to the RS ... but not much.
The fact is ... this can be fitted to an RS ... allowing the center section of the RS where the subwoofer is ... to become available for other purposes.

its a part I never added ... when I made the mini-spare system ... so it's available.

It may not look like much of a sub, but I can personally testify (owned an ST for 8 years) it is a far better sub than the RS OEM sub. Nice easy upgrade! GLWS!

SHIPPING COST

Buyers can calculate their FedEx or UPS ground rates using the following information. (go to the FedEx and UPS websites, shipping cost calculator).

Ship From
City and Zip Code: Castro Valley, 94546. (The Local FedEx office [I'll drop off there] is in Hayward, CA ... and a UPS Store is in Castro Valley [I'll drop off there]).

I will use a "wheel box" at 22" x 22" x 12" and 10 pounds
(estimated ... final may vary).

Insurance: $125. Insurance is the buyer's option, yet recommended.

Insert YOUR delivery location and method (business, residential, signature, etc) in the FedEx and UPS "shipping cost" calculators.

As a buyer, if you have a corporate account (like at work), then there is a good chance the box can be shipped at a lower cost ... all on YOUR account. How that 'works' (shipping labels created ... all TBD).
==============

Final shipping cost will be determine once "boxed and ready" as noted above.

Details will be determined using the RS Forum's PM (private messaging) system.

=========================

Local "meet and see" ... in Castro Valley, 94546 ... remains the best and lowest cost method, of course.

16" x 11" x 6"

meaning ... as mounted on the RS's (Focus) right-side "hatch" area : 16" long (rear-to-front), 11" high (floor to woofer's top), and 6" out from the side (into the hatch area).

One can see these on the higher-trim-level Focus cars ...

Some means to "secure" in the RS is needed ... as the RS has a flat-floor-structure (for the rear drive unit) whereas, as i recall, the other have depressions for a spare tyre.
The two brackets in the pic(s) ... bend-to-suit and "JB Weld" and add "something" to secure to the side. There is a slot there for a bolt to screw into the vehicle's side ... which for the RS just do another JB Weld "stud" ... or strong velcro at the two bottom points and the side. Make it 'secure' but removable and "no added (new) holes in the body. Done. IMHO.

Having the amplifier power two subwoofers ... is something one (the buyer) could try.
That would put the subwoofers' speakers resistance (Ohms) in parallel ... so ½ the load (Ohms) ... from the amplifier's perspective.
How the amplifier will respond and the resulting "sound" is unknown (to me).

as noted.

Wheels are just $1,000/set.

... and just $1,150 shipped by UPS Ground to the lower 48 states. Boxed up ... and since via my old company, TBD how the "insurance works" ... as I'm NOT the shipper per se ... so I'd BOX 'em well ... . That was the price to one person asking, who backed out, to Maine. if less, I'd pass on the shipping savings.

Wheels fit all the Focus platform cars ... so the Maverick, too !! BroncoSport, etc. Heck, one can even put these wheels on a Lincoln LS or Jaguar S-Type !!

I just want the wheels and subwoofer ... gone.

I am "freeway close" for anyone in NorCal ... meet at:

Lake Chabot Public Market

the Lake Chabot Public Market burned down the other night.

Perfect for running the mini-spare tire ...

Plug & play ... with the rare matching pig-tail connector (as pictured). Splice & go ... or go Molex ... many choices.
