I’m trying to determine if the Ford performance short throw shifter M-7210-FRS. Is the same as the one that comes in the focus RS from the factory or is it actually a true upgrade

you should try the mountune SS arm. i had the cobb plate and the mountune piece is a def improvement.Cobb shift plate @ 30%. 30k miles, no issues!
