does anyone know if there is a weight diff to the oem gearbox? if the Q is 15-20 lbs lighter...that would be a great selling point.
Good question. I’ve not seen any weight specs, but it must be lighter. It has fewer parts/gear.

Don't know the weight but in general motorsport gearboxes have stronger gears so the space saved by the 6th might be spread across the other (wider) gears. What would be interesting is the top speed. It should be reduced to about 200km/h.

Besides that, I'm not doing the guinea pig for these. GBP 9500 is either expensive for an experiment and too cheap to be serious at the same time. A SADEV ST4-917 4WD transverse gearbox (with PTU and diff) starts at 40,000 Euro and that's a cheaper option than, say, an XTrac equivalent so it may be a "you get what you pay for" affair, and don't get me started on the ATB diff.
