Purchased 2018 RS, got less than expected...

Hello!

Just purchased and picked up my 2018 focus RS in Saskatchewan and was kind of surprised to hear that the car did not come with the winter tires & rims, and also no car cover!

I had the impression that these items were standard for 2018 focus RS sold in Canada, are they not? These items are listed as standard on the Ford website...

I am from the US, but I thought the winter wheel package was standard in Canada as well. Not sure if 2018 model year is different.
There was a thread about the winter wheels package no longer available in the States...not sure if it affects Canada as well. Either way, you should definitely go after Ford and your dealership.
What did the window sticker list as std and special options?
You've been ripped off. The dealer owes you the Winter Wheel and Tire Package and a Car Cover. Here's a 2018 Canadian window sticker. Note under 'Optional Equipment:

The only option on a Canadian RS is Nitrous Blue paint.

Thanks for the feedback! I sent Ford Canada an email regarding this, will also get in touch with the dealership too.

Will keep this threaded updated.

Sounds like your dealer needs to give you a free oil change for giving you the run around. The dealer is responsible for getting the package to your door mounted and balanced too. All 4 wheels and tires will fit in the back seat (up or down) if you want to pick them up yourself. There are door stickers and instruction sheet(s) and TPMS sensors on the pallet they come on.
Car cover may no longer be a thing, but winter tires/wheels definitely should be. I agree with @ProfessorFate - something is not right.

It may just be a communication or timing thing. My winter set did not come in for almost a month after the car was delivered. So maybe they're on the way.

Contacting Ford Can is prob the best approach.

Just out of curiousity, what tires are on the car? Does it still come with PSC2 tires?
The website says PSC2 for 2018

The line below the wheels and tires says 'mini spare tire', so this may not be accurate. Also, 2017's in Canada came with Super Sports on forged rims.

So Ford Canada also got in touch with the dealership and they cleared it up with them. Going to pick up the tires and the cover today!

I'm surprised they were not aware of this, but just glad that it worked out!
@god7illa and @ProfessorFate thanks for the feedback, also the car is running PSC2 tires.

LOL, so what was the dealer going to do with these items, then sell them? This is why I just don't trust dealers. Yeah they could just be ignorant, or they could have been trying to pull a fast one and make a few extra bucks. If they are ignorant this is still no excuse, they should know anything listed on the window sticker comes with the car and they should know Focus RS's in Canada come with these items.

It's a good thing you caught it.
@thill They told me to check with them before winter for tires as they would give me a good deal! I guess they were planning on selling the kit to me lol. Yeah no excuse, hopefully this experience will help someone else though.
