Finally installed the wheels:
Enkei NT03+m 18x9.5 +40
265/35/18 Yokohama Advan Apex V601
Lowered on Whiteline springs
So far no rubbing at all, even full lock. No rolled fenders. Have not had time to hit the canyons, but i'm sure that it will rub slightly under hard cornering and with 3-4 passengers. Overall love the look.Front fitment couldn't get any better (pictures dont do it justice). I just wish the rear sat slightly lower, but at that point it would rub over speed bumps and such.

I did not realize until now how much 18x9.5 wheels accentuate the hips on this car 😍

Might be the next size I buy once I replace my current 18x8.5 wheels.

Been looking at those wheels even for my old Evo X when I had it.

Safest width (widest) for the tires I would think would be 255 on those Enkeis.

If I’m not mistaken, you can fit up to a 275 on a 9.5 inch rim. Like I said the 265s don’t rub on the RS

Yeah. 8.5 is definitely too small. Too close to the stock 8inch rim. 9.5 might be overkill, but looks cool🤣

Loved the 9.5 on the P45r I had on my Evo IX, got a 245 tire there for the "stretched" look, that and to clear the fenders w/o too much suspension mod to clear.

Do 255/35 rub with 18x8.5 wheel and mountune yellow springs?

It shouldnt. I believe the whiteline is lower, and i have a slightly thicker tire (265) and i dont rub at all.

Thanks 🤓 These photos are couple months old. Last snow fall was April.

Sweet. Mine is not lowered, so 265 will definitely fit fine. Love how the sidewall looks, too.

Bought some TE37 on eBay. Previous owner had them redrilled and refinished and ran them in his Jaguar. They’re in significantly worse condition than the seller said but I’m happy with how they look on the car. 2 of them are OG SLs and 2 are regular TE37, but the newer version. I’d like to find 2 matching 18x9.5 OG TE37SL so that all 4 wheels match exactly and may change the color if/when I do.

Fun fact: The ROTAs are a little over 2lbs heavier per wheel and are the same diameter and width.

ROTAs are also for sale locally for anyone who might be interested in the central California/Bay area.

Looks great. I've always been a fan of bronze but I'm not brave enough to paint my stock wheels. What color is that? I found a Fiat color (750 Maronne Mulcanico) that is supposed to be a pretty good match to Rays wheels.
