Hello All,

I had the FSA work completed on my RS @ 2k miles. I'm at 4K miles now and my oil change sensor has come on even though it was just changed with the FSA. There seems to be some debate on whether the oil change sensor is an actual sensor or just computed based on driving etc...Should I just change the oil anyway to be safe? Or turn if off an wait until 7k miles (5k from the $2k @ FSA work)? Thoughts? Opinions?

Thanks

They probably forgot to reset it when they did the FSA, even then 4K is mighty early for the car to suggest an oil change, it's not a sensor, it's a miles, hours run, cycles process in the ST and RS.
The average change prompt seems to be 10K but most members here never make it that far before chickening out ;)

2K means they forgot to reset the sensor.
