I'm thinking of Red STi with black wheel honestly. No other car really comes close to being a good DD including snowy winters here in Midwest. But of course that won't matter cos all of us here are getting FoRS!
Plan B? My ST is fully bolted, GTX2867r, e85 tune, Mahle pistons, molnar rods, clevite bearings, Mickey Thompson street competition tires, ect. So plan B Is to beat the RS with my ST while they are still new and lack mods hehe. Then I will hope to get a 2017 RS or who knows.
The timing of the RS release may make or break if I can actually buy one. My Accord lease is up in 5 months, and I will need to step right into another vehicle once I turn it in.
I drove a 2016 Golf R the other day and that was pretty nice, but it has a very understated design and it is a pretty quiet car exhaust wise...but I could live with one.

B1 - Porsche Cayenne GTS as a tow rig for my track car, keep 1 other fun car in the garage. Although, if I didn't mind the wicked cost of consumables, the Cayenne could do track days. But no... seriously!
Plan B2's: The initial draw of the Focus RS was that it would be a fun track day car that I could drive on wet days, or days where the weather was questionable. We have lots of rain, and a lot of really $h!tty nOOb drivers at track days now, that I'm not that comfortable running with anyway. Add to that, really lax (or non-existant) mechanical inspections in some groups, and you have people oiling the track, etc. Need something that won't make me want to shoot myself if I stuff it in a wall and destroy it. So, if the Mensae at the local Ford Stealerships don't want to sell me a RS, one of these would work.

Been considering it. 36k miles, adult owners, some nice mods, and never beaten. It's about as close as you can get to building a time machine and going back to 2004 to buy one new. It's an awesome car, but I just don't know if I want to track it. The downside, is I just paid what I had to in order to find the nicest DBP Mk4 R32 I could find on the planet. So, I'm in this thing A BUNCH!
