As topic states at about my 3rd go around for getting the post head gasket repair oil leak resolved. Once at Koon's Ford Baltimore, Now at Crouse in Taneytown Md. I'm willing to travel. Anybody know of a good place with enthusiastic Tech that has resolved this before?

If you are willing to travel to the Detroit area, there is a tech named Jessica who has replaced multiple headgaskets without issue.

She has done quite a few, but not without any issues. Even she has had a couple come back with leaking front covers.

I’m sure GWB would recommend Battlefield Ford. I know someone who used Ted Britt in Fairfax and didn’t have any leaks. That said, they did put a small dent in the car. But maybe it wasn’t them...

I wasn’t aware that she had a couple come back, thanks for letting me know.

Yeah heard of Jessica but that's a bit of a hike, I guess i should have specified that i'm willing to travel the tri state area. Ok thanks i'll keep it in mind. I mean the process now isn't just getting a head-gasket repair done without leaks, it's repairing the issue caused by the pre-revision replacement process. Love this car but wtf... :-(

Call around and ask the service departments. If they've had a lot of bad luck they will not be excited about fixing the car and make excuses about not having time to fix it.

Personally my experience is trying to even get a person on the phone that understands what an RS is. Last place i called and tried to have that discussion, it was like "yeah focus is a great car, my sons have them, great gas milage" Yeah we're not even talking about the same thing here. I have it at my closest place now, not the one i bought it from and who did the headgasket and first oil leak repair of turbo feed and banjo.

They're replacing the banjo bolt again.... :-|

I think the problem isn't finding someone who wants to work on the car... they'll all take it and take the money from Ford for a repair. The problem is finding someone who cares about actually fixing it correctly.
