Hello Everyone,

I'm from the Northern California area, and I have a confirmed order for an allocated Focus RS at MSRP no ADM. I highly recommend making phone calls to dealerships out of California to see if you can avoid the ADM.
I was the 3rd and last allocation, but I'm sure other dealerships might still have some stock. Open up google and call call call away!

Can't wait to see you fellow RS drivers out there on the road next year!

Does anyone know if ALL allocations will be shipped in Spring? Or if only the 1st and second allocations will be shipped first. Like I said, I was the 3rd allocation at this dealership.
I'm 3rd allocation, and mine has already been selected for scheduling. From what I've read, it looks like your allocation # doesn't matter, because they are doing a lottery system for scheduling orders.

Anyone else from NorCal!?
Hi, Chad. I'm from the Placerville area (35 minutes east of Sacramento on Hwy 50). I'm an autocrosser, with a stealth gray RS on order with forged wheels and Cup 2 tires.

I ordered on Oct.10th, it was entered Oct.12th as the first of two allocations. Scheduled for Feb.23rd originally, with a VIN number, but got bumped back & now only a selected-for-scheduling order. I got mine through Auburn Ford, for MSRP. BTW, orders placed prior to Feb.15th don't have the $170 price increase applied.

I received the 1:43rd car model and the invite to Utah track instruction, but that's it so far.

Update: FINALLY, I'm back on the scheduled-to-date list (April 22nd). It took over two months of waiting after I was bumped off the list the first time...but Ford still hasn't given me my 2nd VIN number.
Update: Got my 2nd VIN number, and it's different than my 1st VIN number...don't let the dealer tell you that the 1st VIN is written in stone, and they don't need to check for a new VIN. Mine also told me that "in our 30-year history, no car has ever been given a new, different VIN."

Update: Built June 2nd, on the "Toronto" with scheduled delivery to Port Hueneme, CA on July 9th.

Interedting that you're 2nd allocation and have already been picked whereas mine was supposedly first but has not yet been selected. When was your order placed?
just so you know, the date your order was placed has nothing to do with when it gets scheduled.

I was expecting that first allocations all go into a lottery and then once that pool is emptied 2nd allocations and so forth. But it sounds like all allocations are in one big pool, so someone with a 8th allocation for example, can luck out over someone with a first.

That's ok if that's the way it works, but my main complaint still stands how do I know I'm even in the lottery?

neither is correct, really. if you really do have an allocation for a car, you'll get a car. when they're scheduled has a lot to do with the dealer you've ordered from and their relationship with Ford...and their Ford rep. It's highly unlikely that any dealer would get 8 scheduled before your dealer's first or second.

Bingo. That's the problem, how do I know?

The dealer is telling me they do but I've no means to confirm what they are saying.

Now if dealers were only able to place as many orders as they have allocations that would be good enough for me.

But my understanding is that any dealer can place as many rs orders as they like even if they have zero allocations. The order will just sit there until all the allocated orders are fulfilled.

My order was placed on November 4th. I believe it's based on a lottery system.

Hey! I'm from the Sacramento area. I didn't get the forged wheels but I will be looking into some aftermarket wheels soon! Is your order scheduled yet?

Do you have a VOC and DORA? Have they confirmed in writing that you have one of their allocated cars, not just a regular retail order? Thats what I asked mine to do and they did it! Now I don't have to worry about it I recommend you do the same!
