HAHAHA totally agree with you. For some reason the RS attracts more attention from those luxury brand drivers. Audi's and BMW especially which is always amusing. Some guy driving an M4 asked me how my head gasket was so I had to enjoy some play dumb conversation then let him know the car runs absolutely beautiful. Its funny drivers would think we are ignorant of the recall.

I'm in Sturbridge, but neither of the above!
There are a handful of modded STs in town and (2) Black RSs (from what I've seen)
I did just bump into a Nitrous Blue w/ an aftermarket exhaust and big vinyl numbers on it on Rt. 20. Are you on here?
Soundwave that could have been the group from NE ST/RS on facebook coming back from Palmer. They managed to grab a track session I think a weekend or 2 ago. I wanted to go but couldn't make it but from the videos they had a good time. Check out the group on FB if you are on.

That must have been it. My coworker is from Palmer so that's the right area. I have no interest in facebook but I do wish I could get to one of these get togethers. I'll be at the Chicopee Moose lodge car show tonight for Ford night if anyone is in the area!

Got a speeding ticket in my RS I plan on fighting and was looking for some opinions, I got the ticket for 43/25 3 pts on license he claims i "took off" coming from somewhere I actually didn't even pull out of (maybe he got the wrong car) I was shocked O was being pulled over because I don't even think i got out of second gear, I definitely didn't take off as the officer claims. He also claimed he got me on radar but my radar detector didn't go off, is it worth mentioning this when I go to court since they're legal in CT and also in VT where i got the ticket or would I just be digging myself a bigger hole.

I’m on a 4 days motorcycle trip around VT!
Was following a stealth grey RS on old highway 7A in VT this evening, coming in to Sunderland! A white Forester was following close than two motorcycles (my dad and me)!
You guys have such great roads (both pavement quality and scenery/curves) the RS must be a blast on some of those roads!
PS: if you recognize yourself, maybe have a look at your undertray...looking from behind it seemed like it was dropping quite a bit, the swaybar clip must be gone or broken!

Spotted the same SG again today going west on VT-11 (my dad and I were headed east)!
We managed to avoid the storms today (pure luck)! The small road from Ludlow to Reading was a blast at lunchtime! The Bristol - Appalachian gap - Middlebury gap loop was also amazing (we did it twice between yesterday and today, once each way).
Headed home tomorrow, enjoy your nice roads and mountain passes, it was great visiting the area! Big up to Swiss Farm inn in Pittsfield (+ their world’s greatest breakfast) and the Ira Allen Inn in Sunderland, both awesome B&B to spend the night and great owners to chat with!

Generally I say fight any ticket if you can. Argue it out as he may have you mixed up with another car...BUUUT
Zell I don't think that will do anything but get you into deeper trouble mentioning the radar detector. If the officer actually used lidar I believe some of the new equipment wont register on detectors, a friend of mine is an officer and we've had some long chats about the ins/outs of tickets. The only real way you can get around it is to have a cam inside the interior focused on your speed/driving and the dash cam. The interior one vouches for your speed and the dash cam proves your driving ability. That's the only way. If it was a statie.....they suck period and it doesn't have to be that officer in court, any officer will show up and just read what they wrote.

Call Kinetic Motorworks and ask for Max Morin. He's also one of the admins for NE ST/RS facebook group as well. They might be able help you out if not, they can recommend. I had my inspection and HG repair at Watertown Ford. The tech went over the car, checking everything and came out clean. Had zero issues other than the damn TPMS going off with cold weather hahahaha.
