Been waiting for the new PS5 to be available at retailers even though they said it's launched last Feb.

I didn't realize they were directional. I've never had tires that I could flip, so I didn't think about that. The tread pattern looks more wet friendly, so I wonder how it compares to the rt660 in the dry.

With a lot of products, including tires, sitting offshore in container ships, and a rubber tree fungus effecting natural rubber production...one can't be too set on a particular brand of tire.

Too bad you can't flip them.
Yeah. Isn't this kind of a deal breaker for a lot of people? If I wasn't able to flip my RE-71R's, I would've only got like 4 autocross events out of them from chewing up the outsides. I just cranked up the negative camber on mine, but if you're limited on camber options, the tire budget would ramp up REAL quick.

Same. I loooooved my RE11's at the track, but only got a few track days out of them. After switching to a symmetrical tire (Hankook R-S4's) and being able to flip them to get more life out of em, it's pretty much a no brainer to stick with something similar for track tires. Considering track tires are more of a consumable, "bang for buck" is the name of the game.

How would the RE-71RS do on the street and in the rain? Those Koya wheels look great. What are the specs? Very much like the Titan-7 T-R10 which I have my eyes on for the future. I hear that the PS5 is only a little better on track than the PS4S.

I haven't done any spirited driving in the wet. Just normal driving.
Yes the Koya's do look great. Thanks. They are 18*9 et36. Wanted some room for bigger brakes. The Titans were ordered originally and deposit paid. But after months and more months of delays and no definite date they would arrive I went with the Koya's.

Judging by the thread pattern, I'd guess decent to ok-ish, probably comparable to any of the other track-centric 200 treadwear tires like the Cup 2. Looks like they tried to maximize tread block size for more dry grip, so not a lot of channels to evacuate water through. Those big blocks will probably make the tire noisy on the street and more susceptible to hydroplaning.
