Stunt driver will tackle the Goodwood Hillclimb in Ford's latest hot hatch at the 2015 Festival of Speed

The new Ford Focus RS will make its UK debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, with rally and stunt driver Ken Block behind the wheel.
The theme for this year’s Festival is “Flat Out and Fearless: Racing on the Edge”, and few people embody this better than Block, whose spectacular Gymkhana stunt-driving videos have been watched by more than 300 million people on YouTube.
Full specs for the new Focus RS are still to be revealed, but it features four-wheel drive and a turbocharged 2.3-litre engine that produces “in excess of” 316bhp.
The RS is also one of the lairiest-looking hot hatches around, with a jutting front splitter, a deep rear diffuser, and a glut of skirts, slashes, scoops and spoilers. Meanwhile, inside it features Recaro sports seats, finished in a combination of leather and suede-effect trim.
In addition to the RS, Block will drive his own “Hoonicorn”, a 1965 Ford Mustang that has been customised with four-wheel drive, an 845bhp V8 engine, bespoke suspension, and bodywork inspired by racing cars and toys that Block owned as a child.
The 2015 Festival of Speed runs from June 25-28. Ticket information is available from Goodwood.com or via the ticket office on 01243 755055.
