Anyone looking for a Troféo?

Junkyard Treasure: 1989 Oldsmobile Toronado Troféo | Autoweek

Maybe I'm showing my age?

After a terrible, terrible, icy winter in Tulsa,OK I bought a 1979 Toronado, because at the time almost all cars were RWD and it was on of the few FWD cars. It had a 350 cu in four-barrel and ran pretty good and could get 20 mpg with easy highway driving. One of my few,few automatics.

YMMV,

I'd completely forgotten about those.... Totally turdtastic!

There were a couple of these bad a$$ FWD rigs in the parking lot when I was in High School.

Never owned one, but would have been kinda cool. Closest thing I ever had in the funk department was a '72 Buick Boattail Riviera.

A Riviera was the car back in the day. My favorite body style was this: the Boattail

Thanks, this jingle is stuck in my head once again after 25 years later.... :p
Hopefully, I'll be able to do it again 25 years from now.
