Who here is making this their first Ford purchase? I've been a Subaru guy for years and was sorely disappointed with the look and quality of the 2015 STI. The same HP and engine since 2005??? for almost 42k, yeah not for me.
Answer : No. Because I have owned near 200 cars over the years ( I'm in my 40's) and I love collecting, restoring and driving cool cars, I have owned a many Fords.

5) 1984 Mustang GT 5.0
6) 1998 Explorer Sport
7) 2001 F-150 crewcab

Ha! My first car was a 1971 baby blue Ford Pinto handed down from my father who drove it like a teetotaler. It was a 4 speed manual and still chirped into 2nd gear. Never in my life did I think I'd buy a Ford but super psyched to be. Coming from a 1991 Honda Civic Si hatchback.
I've owned 4 mustang GTs (1986,2001,2005,2012), a Ford F100 P/U, a 1985 Ford Escort (crap US econobox), 1996 Ford Bronco XL, a four door Ford Fairmont, a 1987 Ford Ranger XLT, and my 'starter' car: 1975 Ford Pinto in Orange with cragar mags drove it for a couple years, and finished it off driving it to the junkyard.
I've had no allegiance.. Oh.. who am I kidding.. i've drooled over Evos for as long as I can remember.. when mitsu gave the evo the boot I had to part ways.. luckily Ford and the Focus RS was there and I haven't looked back (that often.. show me a good VIII anyday..)
My current car is a Subaru BRZ. I was never really into American cars in general, and I was thinking about getting an Audi S3. But then I saw everything Ford announced over the past year, including the RS, Shelby GT350, and, of course, the GT, and it really changed my mind about Ford. When I saw the specs for the RS, I knew that it was exactly what I was looking for.
