Hey yall,

In the market for my first RS and need some guides.

I know for a fact I want 2018 only and in blue. I have 2 cars in canada that I could potentially pickup in my budget. (Max 35k after taxes, insurance)

Modified or not. Im unsure.

Id like to keep it stock for future sales (Also maybe best investment wise)

Here is some details below; the modded one has racing stripes and is also lower km's

But also are these mods any good? and will stop me wanting more power in the future

The one with 150K kms looks the better choice but that is just on paper - it's completely stock now but was it tuned before and had a ton of parts that were removed cerefully or not?

You'll want to get a pre-purchase inspection and look at them in person to see if the descriptions match - nothing wrong with a tune but it very much depends on who has done it and possibly if something was wrong while it was being tuned.

I shopped RSs last year and ended up with a 2018 in blue. If you care about resale, stock is the safe play. Modded cars can be fine, but you want proof of who tuned it and how it was used. For 2018 check for the front diff noise, clutch slip on hard pulls, coolant smell, and any signs of track abuse like cooked brakes or rubber in the wheel wells. Do a proper pre purchase with compression test if you can. If one of your options is the 2018 with the factory front Quaife diff and winter pack, that’s a nice bonus for Canada. Under 35k all in is tight, so be picky and walk if the history is thin. I passed on a striped low km one because the tune had no paperwork and the stock car I bought has been zero drama.
