I have been thinking of trading the RS in for the new 2023 Supra with the six speed manual transmission.
Will do boss...but on the other hand i do want to just save up some pennies and be able to have both cars in the same garage. There is something about the RS that makes you not want to let it go.Why not...Enjoy as many platforms as possible....Post a pic when you get your Supra
Been on a hunt for a decent manual 981 for a while now but the Porsche tax is still going strong in 2023...(sigh) Have half-accepted defeat and have been cross shopping with a GR86/BRZ latelyA Porsche Cayman GT / GTS would take the place of the RS
This is about the only upgrade in my book, as well. But even that is a stretch for me right now, in terms of $, so my RS will continue to happily slay dragons.A Porsche Cayman GT / GTS would take the place of the RS
Still sticking with my answer. I can't do 2-seats and while I could make a coupe happen, I'd rather not.G80 M3
Yeah you boiled it down to the essential requirements. In Europe one can still get a SH Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio with the manual gearbox... that would fit the requirements and more , 4 door Ferrari.Still sticking with my answer. There's nothing under $60,000 which would be a big enough step in any direction to justify leaving my RS. I am also not interested in another 4-cylinder.
I want a manual transmission. I don't like Cadillac. I want more than 4 cylinders. I want 4-doors. I want something fast. I want something relatively special. And I can't afford a Porsche.

I saw one in person for the first time yesterday. I think it looks better in person than in photographs. Guy had a car seat in the rear middle as well. I only wish they made the manual available with AWD. If I lived where it didn’t snow this wouldn’t be an issue.Still sticking with my answer. The Quadrifoglio is a beast. Every bit an M3's better in terms of its performance and handling.I saw one in person for the first time yesterday. I think it looks better in person than in photographs. I was seriously considering the Quad. Saw one at the auto show when they first came out and fell in love. The reliability is a significant problem though. I couldn’t stomach spending $70K + and not be able to rely on the car every day. I hoped they were going to work out the issues over the years and would occasionally scan the forums but the problems just don’t seem to go away even with the newer model years. It’s a shame, it is a beautiful car.The Quadrifoglio is a beast. Every bit an M3's better in terms of its performance and handling.
I want one. Aside from the maintenance. Dear LORD, just look up the video on changing the serpentine belt. LMAO its a nightmare!
I could change the belt on my GTA in about 1 minute, including the time it takes to unlock the doors and pop the hood.
Open Drivers Door
Pull hood release
Use 3/8" ratchet to release belt tension
remove belt
install new belt.
remove 3/8" to restore belt tension.
DONE.
