I got a 2018 mk3 rs I was driving yesterday just getting on the highway not driving crazy just getting up to speed as soon as I set the cruise control the rpm went to like 500 CEL came on and now any drive mode any gear full throttle is the same as 1/4 throttle peak boost is .5 bar or the first line on the boost gauge.
It’s going to the dealer this week but I don’t want these guys lobbing me a bullshit repair bill and pointing to the nearest aftermarket part assuming that’s the problem!

Sounds like a "limp mode" of sorts. Have you tried checking for codes? That should give a clue as to what is going on.

No I don’t have an AP and I wasn’t messing with the valet

IIRC, the TS WGA is 12psi then the tune+ and Mountune has a 14psi variant.

First thing I would check if any of the hoses or pipes came off, might be a leak?

I got in Jan this year I put on the AWE track and BOV the rest came on the car last guy must have tuned it

Now that I'm re-reading this, I think I might be with @JamoRS you may have selected a different map while setting the cruise. If you have the WGA installed, chances are you have a tune on the car and there's a good chance that you have other map slots. On the RS, you can switch map slots via the cruise control buttons (see below).

Like Jamo mentioned, you may have accidentally selected some sort of valet map slot while messing with the cruise control buttons. Try doing as the video above shows and see if you can select between maps. If you can, trying switching to map 1 (1k rpm) and see if that resolves you problem.

Bro you are a legend! I had no idea so it’s clear the car was tuned before I got it! The mechanic had a good laugh too that was is as well as the purge valve needed to be replace the reason for the CEL thanks again man !!!
