Have you removed your ”glued square badge” on your stock IC?

Have you removed this part from your stock intercooler?

Due to not speaking english perfectly I domt know how to desceibe it better but on stock intercooler its a black thing glued that covers like a square of the intercooler, around 10x10 cm big. This can be removed, have you done it?

I live in the humid south, and I have plenty of power, so I leave it alone.

Very similar to weather/climate in Maine in the northeast US. I left mine alone, so I guess I am a "stock Nazis" as @thirdgen89gta has said. 🤷‍♂️

Yep Michigan here get rid of that hot humid summers. High 90’s and over 80 percent humidity most the summer. Winters cold. Removed mine within an hour of owning it.
Live in Hawaii and removed mine on day one.
I took mine off a long time ago. It's sitting in my parts bin.
Mine's gone courtesy of a previous owner.

Something something condensation. I don't wanna mess with it, so mine stays on. Perhaps some day I'll get an aftermarket IC and that won't have it.

That is the answer :-D
I'm on an aftermarket intercooler now, but while it was stock I left it on.
Quick question, when you replace the intercooler, you need a new tune, yes?

"Stock Nazis" do not change their intercoolers....

But to answer your question, it's prob a good idea to have it tuned....to suit that mod.

I guess the OP should have worded it, "Those who have kept their stock intercooler, have you kept that little black square on it?".

BTW, I knew the answer beforehand, just making a point some people may want to "lightly" modify without tuning. And in changing the intercooler, would be a good idea to tune, so it is a lot more involved than just swapping out an intercooler.

I have some mods, I haven't the energy to install at the moment. But the mods I do will always be reversible because I am a "purity Nazis" not a "stock Nazis". 😁

My 370z has mods, all reversible, because not everyone wants someone elses "project car" and will be worth more to someone looking for that later in life.

Not to get political but, Russia called Ukrainians Nazis, look at how this has turned out...

I guess I just don't want to throw all my parts...
I asked Stewart at MSD today, he said "keep it on" since i live in north of Sweden with quite cold temps.

Removed it, but saved it along with the wonky stock lug nuts.
