Goals for my RS:
1. Bring a smile to my face each time behind the wheel.
2. Make total strangers come up to me and ask questions.
3. Run 12s in the 1/4 mile on 93 octane gas and street tires.
4. Survive weekend trips around the Louisiana countryside on its crappy roads.
5. Complete multiple autox or lapping day sessions per day without issue anytime/anywhere.

Went with Suntek PPF C (paint protection film) + Nanolex Si3D HD coating.

Thanks for the compliments, Paolo.

5% tint everywhere.

The concrete trucks caught my eye by Hammond airport because the blue fronts are almost the same color as our brake calipers. That and who could resist a concrete truck with polkadots and mustaches? :D

Ran 3 passes at the dragstrip today. A description of all (3) passes can be found on my Gallery Page Here.

Best pass = Second run. [email protected]
1. Engine/ECU/Exhaust/Suspension Modifications = NONE. Only Intercooler Flap removed!
2. Launch control ON. ESC + Traction Control OFF. Sport Mode. Dampers Normal.
3. 45 minute cool down with hood up from first pass.
4. Tried to shift 6800 rpm 1st-2nd, 6500 rpm 2nd-3rd & 3rd-4th.
5. Pilot Super Sports. 41 psi front, 38 psi rear.
6. Half tank of 93 octane from Valero.
7. No weight reduction.
8. DA 762ft. Temp 68F.
9. 12:05pm.
10. Bye run.

One thing Hank, you're not supposed to use anti seize compounds on plugs. Plugs are already come with anti seize plating, and its use by plug manufacturers is not recommended. ref NGK site for info.

Beat me to it. Use of anti seize is kindof a relic of the past, like the 3k mi oil change.

Guys,

Here's a link to the Denso spark plug literature. "Note: The installation torque values shown above apply to new spark plugs without lubricating the threads. If threads are lubricated, the torque value should be reduced by approximate 1/3 to avoid overtightening."

There's no harm in using anti-seize on these plugs just as long as you don't coat the ground strap or go really crazy with it. Thanks for thinking about me, though. :surprise:
