that's hot. congrats. those front rotors are ginormous...gotta weigh 50 lbs each.
so how does ford keep water from going through the heat vents on that hood?
I believe there is what they the Rain Tray which gets attached to the hood from underneath. People remove it for track days and leave it in place for street driving.

Have about 150 miles on it. Oil change at 500.
I know I’ll get crap for it but I don’t break in engines. After a few heat cycles they are what they are.
Even modern rings don’t need break in.
I’ve had great luck with doing it this way do why change.
Plus how the hell does anyone drive these and not wick them up.

Since you have had the GT500 for about 10 days, can you give us a comparison between your two beast and a photo together?

I have been looking for a GT500 and have had no luck, unless I am willing to pay over MSRP, then I would have one today.

I like the C8 also but the looks are an abomination. Like the C7, the C8 has too many tacked on bits and pieces. I do think the C8 looks like a Ferrari if I see it but don’t stare at it. I love the look of the GT500, it has an aggressive look, maybe it’s “The Beast” to the RS’s “Baby Beast” nickname. I did start looking at GT500’s again after a 3-4 month break. So far no luck finding what I want at MSRP but I will continue to look.

In regards to the Raptor R, if you can afford it and the dealership doesn’t pull the MSRP deal rug out from under you, I say go for it.
I agree, especially the quantity of piano black pieces. If they offered a carbon fiber package to replace all those, it would be substantially classier looking, IMO.

Got mine today. Of course I was in NYC working so I got up at 2 am to drive home and get it.
Woah, I love the orange. I've been drooling over these things since they came out. Alas, it's probably not in the cards as my wife is due for a new car well before I have justification to get one. LoL!

Nice ride though, one of the few cars within my price range that I'd consider replacing my RS with.
