Looks like there are SYNC3 mods available on fmods.net.So what special things can you do once jailbroken?
Thanks for that list. It looks like you have to be signed up with fmods to see more details, but I think I get the gist. I'm definitely interested in a handful of those features. Here's the full list of mods. I'll probably jailbreak once the digital cluster mod is available, currently it's "in development"
hyuk hyuk hyuk"Cryptocurrencies prices"
Yeah, kind of annoying that it requires one to register. These don't seem particularly useful to me from the names. What caught your eye? Thanks for that list. Particularly the "custom background', "fast screen off" and "on demand rear camera"Yeah, kind of annoying that it requires one to register. These don't seem particularly useful to me from the names. What caught your eye?
I find the Euro face plate is the easiest why to get "fast screen off", I have a dedicated hardware button on the dash for it now.Particularly the "custom background', "fast screen off" and "on demand rear camera"
Someone will get to it before me guaranteed. I'm not back to my bb for 12 more days. 😢
Did you update your Module so you can use calm screens; if so, how'd that go (easy)? I have the tool to manually load firmware I just never got around to using it, jic I soft-brick.I did this a couple of times last week (had to redo it when upgrading to 3.4.21265 as I forgot I had a second USB drive plugged in when trying to do the Daemon Restore). Easy to do.
Installed all the mods.
Not very interesting after that and not much to the mods really.
First time I used Forscan to reset Sync as couldnt get the timing for the Power Button+Forward Seek.
Second time I pressed these buttons as soon as I put the USB drive in and it seemed to get the timing right in rebooting Sync and keeping the JB applied.
