Thanks for that list. It looks like you have to be signed up with fmods to see more details, but I think I get the gist. I'm definitely interested in a handful of those features.

Interesting. When I'm driving, I always have my phone plugged in and use AndroidAuto. But when I autocross, I keep my phone in the center console. I've always wanted to put an image of the autocross course on the sync display and this seems possible with the background change. I didn't see an image viewer for sync... but I think at least having it as the background could work out!

I find the Euro face plate is the easiest why to get "fast screen off", I have a dedicated hardware button on the dash for it now.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll install it this weekend. I have been waffling over buying the tools(Ford SYNC3 Black screen stuck at Logo screen repair tools eMMC programming fixture) for over a year, so I'm really excited about this update!

I did this a couple of times last week (had to redo it when upgrading to 3.4.21265 as I forgot I had a second USB drive plugged in when trying to do the Daemon Restore). Easy to do.
Installed all the mods.
Not very interesting after that and not much to the mods really.

First time I used Forscan to reset Sync as couldnt get the timing for the Power Button+Forward Seek.
Second time I pressed these buttons as soon as I put the USB drive in and it seemed to get the timing right in rebooting Sync and keeping the JB applied.

Did you update your Module so you can use calm screens; if so, how'd that go (easy)? I have the tool to manually load firmware I just never got around to using it, jic I soft-brick.

No. I haven’t updated the apim firmware yet.
Never really got around to it and am not sure of the right files for the RS since you can’t get them automatically. Risk outweighted the benefits but I am thinking of looking in to it again and giving it a go.
I have the EX cable and FORScan

Can your Sync 3 be returned to factory after installing jailbreak and how?

I think so, but you will need to go to the site and check for yourself to be 100% sure.
