I am not a fan of the tow hook for purely aesthetic reasons. Stupid but oh well.
I went with an alternative. Skene design mounts, super lightweight and unobtrusive, permits centered mount, easily removed with an allen wrench in minutes. The key modification? Realizing I could use speed nuts pushed onto the back of the gray garnish to mount. No drilling, readily removable in its entirety if I need to down the road. But otherwise robust solution.

Is it worth it? I have the 2018 with the revised dampeners w mountune springs. They aren't as bad as they were prior but can still be made better. I want the ride to be sportier but not rattling. Tighter, yet absorbable.

When you use your block heater, where do you leave it when you're done? Back inside the engine bay? Have you found a way to leave it out and not scratch the car?
